Motiva Enterprises LLC, a joint venture between Shell Oil Company and Saudi Refining Inc., refines, distributes, and markets oil products in the eastern and southern United States. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Motiva refines and markets gasoline more than 7,000 Shell-branded gasoline stations. Company assets include three refineries with a combined capacity of 725,000 barrels per day and ownership interest in 46 refined product storage terminals with an aggregate storage capacity of approximately 19 million barrels. Motiva Enterprises LLC is currently seeking a Turnaround Planning Coordinator for its Convent, Louisiana location.

Responsibilities:


In this position, you will be responsible for the implementation of Shell's Downstream One (DS-1) Plan and execution of Turnaround's work process for the planning, estimating, scheduling, execution, learnings, and final close-out of scheduled operating unit Turnarounds and /or Pit-Stops at Convent Refinery, all in accordance with established business targets. You will chair and provide leadership to a multi-discipline, cross-functional Planning Team, monitor the team's progress against work process milestones, and identify performance gaps and takes action to mitigate the gaps. You will demonstrate approach to fiscal responsibility, budget compliance and the implementation of turnaround cost management systems; including the cost estimating productivity and cost forecasting. Key Accountabilities: 
· Demonstrates a high level of commitment to safety and environmental performance and continuous improvement. Ensures that job plans are developed with the highest regard for personal safety and environmental excellence 
· Works to develop and maintain cost estimates for Turnaround and/or Pit-Stop scopes of work, up to development of Control Cost Estimate status 
· Work very closely with Operations TA Planning Coordinators during all aspects of the planning phase of the work process 
· Has overall responsibility for development of Turnaround, Pit-Stop plans and schedules, including integration of Operations’ decontamination/ decommissioning/ re-commissioning plans, capital project scopes of work, as well as other key stakeholder disciplines such as PEI, electrical, instrumentation, machinery services, etc. 
· Assists with development and optimization of a contracting strategy for turnaround field execution 
· Is responsible for ensuring that all required materials are purchased and on site to support the Turnaround/Pit-Stop 
· During turnaround field execution, provides leadership to the Turnaround Execution Team. Chairs daily shift turnover and progress meetings 
· Monitors and reports daily progress against schedule, identifies performance gaps, and works directly with contractor supervision to make adjustments to resources and /or plan/schedule as needed to close gaps 
· Works closely with Convent Refinery's Catalyst Coordinator to ensure optimal integration of catalyst change-out/regeneration scopes of work, plans and schedules into the turnaround/pit-stop overall plan & schedule 
· Able to conduct business conversations and communicate freely with all levels of the organization



Requirements:


To be considered for this position, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have approximately 10 or more years of turnaround/maintenance experience in a refinery and/or petrochemical facility. You will have working knowledge of process unit turnarounds and working knowledge of turnaround job estimating, planning, scheduling and field execution. Able to perform work with little or no supervisor direction · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Able to lead a group of employees as well as work one-on-one to achieve business objectives · Strong organizational and task management skills · Able to manage multiple tasks · Demonstrated ability as a Team Player. Can willingly offer and accept challenge and feedback on job deliverables · Working knowledge of planning and scheduling software tools such as Primavera P-3, P3E and Immpower-SP · Skilled in use of MS-Word, Excel, Outlook or has ability to learn and use these tools In addition to the tasks outlined in this job description, you may be assigned other responsibilities as needed.
