Shell Canada is currently seeking a planner/scheduler at our Fort St. John operations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to plan work orders, complete with instructions, tools, materials and contract services
- Conduct HSSD Assessment as part of Job Planning
- Electronically attach any procedures, pre-job safety, risk assessments, check sheets, etc., required to complete the job
- Requisition parts and critical labor, scheduling only the critical labor that drives the schedule date
- Incorporate craftsman feedback to improve Preventative Maintenance orders and repeat jobs
- Maintain master job files
- Ensure that all work done complies with Complex Sustainable Development and ISO 14001 requirements
- Maintain a minimum 2 week backlog of job plans for scheduling
- Work with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to optimize job plans per the 6 step planning process
Requirements:
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
- Must be willing to work in Fort St. John, BC or surrounding
- Must have at least a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Must have current, valid Class 5 drivers license or better
- Must be willing to work in a field and office environment
- Minimum of 6 years experience in a forestry, industrial, oil and gas, or manufacturing setting
- Experience in a maintenance planning or scheduling role preferred
- Power Engineering or Trade Certification preferred
