Responsibilities:
- Responsible for mine planning including pit dewatering, road and ramp design
- Mine modeling with Pit bench design and equipment scheduling
- Cost scheduling and special projects
Requirements:
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full time basis for anyone other than current employer
- No "fly in, fly out" option is offered with this position. Relocation to Fort McMurray is required
- B.S. Mining Engineering
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- 6 years previous actual experience in mine operations, mine engineering field support, mine planning and scheduling
- Strong computer skills, with Vulcan Software experience preferred
- Strong coordination and prioritization skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Good task management and reporting skills
- Ability to effectively manage contracts
- Working towards Professional Engineering status
