We’re currently looking to recruit a Senior Seismic Interpreter. It represents a unique opportunity to expand knowledge and skills by working on a wide variety of data, technology and field development plans During the assignment, which is anticipated to last for three years, the successful candidate will be exposured to direct operational activities and will gain experience of working in project team coordination in a joint venture company environment.
Responsibilities:
The centre uses state-of-the-art technologies to enhance subsurface understanding, including a virtual reality centre. As a member of one or more of the integrated study teams, you’ll have a shared responsibility for all the team’s work and for discipline-related enhancements. In detail your role will involve: - Performing 3D seismic interpretation, mapping and volumetric estimations of a field for input to 3D static modelling integrated study work
- Identifying and pursuing new well opportunities for further field development and new technology applications
- Writing up the geophysical components of a field development plan
- Acting as Study Team Leader with responsibility for coordinating, integrating and focusing the various discipline contributions to the project
Developing excellent customer relationships.
Requirements:
With a degree in a geoscience or engineering discipline, you should have extensive hands-on experience with 3D seismic interpretation applications and mapping geoscience software. Skills in 3D visualisation, volume interpretation, uncertainty analysis, integrated 3D static modelling and 3DATW would be an advantage, and you should have a high level of self motivation.
