Motiva Enterprises LLC, a joint venture between Shell Oil Company and Saudi Refining Inc., refines, distributes, and markets oil products in the eastern and southern United States. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Motiva refines and markets gasoline more than 7,000 Shell-branded gasoline stations. Company assets include three refineries with a combined capacity of 725,000 barrels per day and ownership interest in 46 refined product storage terminals with an aggregate storage capacity of approximately 19 million barrels. Motiva Enterprises LLC is currently seeking a Project Engineer for its Convent, Louisiana location.

Responsibilities:


In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities of the Project Execution Team in meeting business objectives consistent with the agreed-upon project execution strategy and project implementation plan. You will act as Motiva's agent for authorizing work of contractors involved in the execution of the assigned work. You will also act as the liaison to OEMI (Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and Inspection) organizations, as appropriate, to represent key interests including turnaround integration, technical integrity and compatibility, operational needs and final knowledge transfer to the end owner. You will be responsible for supporting and contributing to Convent's Initiatives, as they pertain to Projects, some of which include ISO-14001, GAME-ESP, GAME-ME, GAME-RCM, GAME-PEI, and Sustainable Development.



Requirements:


To be considered for this position, you must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering and have approximately 10 or more years in project related experience in a Project Engineering capacity, with at least one large project ($10MM+). Additional Requirements: 
· Ability to work well with teams, and be capable of building teams with each new project 
· Strong written and oral communications skills 
· Strong organizational skills 
· Strong interpersonal skills, in particular around conflict resolution and relationship building 
· Strong working knowledge of revamp type projects and integrating associated construction activities with the site's on-going work (turnarounds, maintenance, day-to-day operations, etc.) In addition to the tasks outlined in this job description, you may be assigned other responsibilities as needed.
