Motiva Enterprises LLC, a joint venture between Shell Oil Company and Saudi Refining Inc., refines, distributes, and markets oil products in the eastern and southern United States. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Motiva refines and markets gasoline more than 7,000 Shell-branded gasoline stations.
Company assets include three refineries with a combined capacity of 725,000 barrels per day and ownership interest in 46 refined product storage terminals with an aggregate storage capacity of approximately 19 million barrels.
Motiva Enterprises LLC is currently seeking an Instrument Craft Team Lead for its Norco, Louisiana location.
Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be responsible for directing the execution of work in alignment with the GAME-ME process.
Key Accountabilities: · Make necessary field/site inspection to familiarize with job scope · Supervise the safe execution of work activities · Frequent field status updates with craftsmen, daily · Ensure daily updates (1:30 pm) are provided on status of maintenance work activities · Provide feedback to Planner to refine the accuracy of the plan and scope for future work. · Monitor quality of craftsmanship and work in the field.Work with Scheduler to dispatch crafts · Follow weekly work schedule and challenge any deviations. · Assign job operations to Motiva crafts. Ensure job operations are assigned to contract crafts. · Ensure plant procedures are followed · Coordinate outside services · Coordinate craftsman for approved overtime · Address discovery work · Identify precisely the work, materials, services that is needed to make necessary repairs to the discovery · Consider plan or schedule adjustment · Procure necessary materials and services for exception repairs · Secure Resources · Review discovery plan with Maintenance Coordinator for timing of execution · Verify work completion. Ensure work order is set to Maintenance Complete daily as required · Ensure Equipment History on notification is documented · Determine if repair requires further investigation · Notify investigation process coordinator · Determine if Task List/Library Plan update is required. Notify Planner to ensure all documentation is updated · Close notifications and TECO work order OMC · Review need for overtime and communicate with area maintenance coordinator · Submit and line up OT as needed · Manage break in jobs identified by maintenance coordinator · Communicate planned work to all personnel involved · Charge craft time · Manage craft issues (absenteeism, vacation, grievances, productivity)
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have approximately 7 or more years experience in Field Instrumentation and Control. Good communication skills, as well as coaching and motivation skills, are required.
